What People Says About Us
Our Story
At Hydreum, we are a team of dedicated professionals with a rich tapestry of global experiences. Our journey with water filtration began years ago, rooted in our profound appreciation for quality and purity in everything we consume.
In Australia, our story starts in Sydney, where the impact of water quality on daily life became apparent. With over 40 years of combined experience as a scientist and in the food industry, the team at Hydreum is built on the fundamental belief that “what humans consume shapes who they become.” This commitment to excellence is further strengthened by a background in seafood cuisine, where crafting dishes that rely on the finest ingredients, including pure water, has been a cornerstone of the practice.
During extensive off-road travels through Australia as part of a production team, firsthand challenges of accessing clean water in remote areas were encountered. This experience deepened the understanding of the necessity for reliable personal and caravan filtration systems. Eight years ago, a move to the Sunshine Coast revealed the complexities of filtering rainwater stored in large tanks, especially for those without access to city water.
